INTRODUCTION. Macromedia (Adobe) Flash is a multimedia authoring program to create animations. This site exhibits various forms of animations done exclusively for Dead Filmmakers Society productions and offers source files for downloading.
READ THIS FIRST. (Disclaimer) Macromedia Flash is largely considered to be the industrial standard in its field, a reputation rightly earned as a powerful and functional tool used by many professionals. Although relatively user-friendly, it is nonetheless highly complex and by no means an "easy" program to handle, with a fairly steep learning curve. On one hand, it is easy to use Flash to create something; on the other hand, it is challenging, to say the least, to create good content. I do not mean this to discourage you, but please be aware that this is nothing like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker. Do not expect to produce professional results from an hour's worth of "playing" with the program - it will be highly time-consuming, so first see if you can accomplish more without Flash. I consider Flash to be mainly for aesthetics.
